Good afternoon, all,

Unfortunately, we had a pretty tragic fire at about 5:15 a.m. this morning at Frankfort High School. The fire itself was contained to one classroom, but the water damage from the sprinkler system and the fire department is extensive. 

Two Key Points:

Frankfort High School will be closed tomorrow.
Second Street School will be in session tomorrow. 

We can use an emergency day tomorrow and beyond, but emergency days can be used for only one school, not the entire district. Details for the remainder of the week will follow tomorrow, as we will have more time to assess the situation and plan for Chromebook distribution and delivery (if needed), food service, etc.

Second Street Families: Please make sure your students are at school tomorrow. If they have a sibling at FHS, please do not keep them at home. We still need, and want, SSS students to come to school. We want to keep as much normal as possible, and are excited to see our Panther Cubs tomorrow!
