Wrap Around Child Care

The Frankfort Independent Schools Early Learning Academy Wraparound Child Care Center provides child care for children ages two to five years old as an extension of our preschool program. 

Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. Applications must be submitted and are reviewed by the Wrap Around staff to determine eligibility.

Applications for Wrap Around may be picked up at Second Street School's front office or may be downloaded here. 

Completed applications may be submitted to Second Street School's front office, faxed to the school office at 502-875-8665, or submitted via email to lynn.baker@frankfort.kyschools.us.

Child Care Center Hours:

  • Monday through Friday 7:15am to 5:30pm

  • The Wrap Around Program follows the district's schedule for weather-related closing and delays 

  • The Child Care Center is a year-round program but is closed for the following holidays/breaks

    • September 2, 2019 (Labor Day)

    • November 27-29, 2019 (Thanksgiving Break)

    • December 23, 2019-January 1, 2020 (Christmas Break)

    • January 2, 2020 (MLK Holiday)

    • May 25, 2020 (Memorial Day)

    • June 29-July- 3 2020 (Fourth of July Holiday) 

       

Program Costs:

  • Weekly rate is $130 for 3-5 year olds

  • Weekly rate is $140 for 2 year olds

  • We accept Child Care Assistance
